Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities at the OPAL Eggs project site, ensuring work progresses according to approved plans, timelines, and quality standards. This role involves close coordination with labour, contractors, suppliers, and management to keep the site running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction operations and maintain smooth site workflow.
• Monitor progress and quality of work against drawings, specifications, and approved instructions.
• Manage labour, contractors, and subcontractors on site.
• Inspect and verify all received construction materials for quantity and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, usage, and stock balances.
• Track material consumption, wastage, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, labour, and management to resolve site issues promptly.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress updates and material reports.
• Ensure housekeeping, safety, and HSE practices are followed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision and construction management, preferably in agricultural or farm‑related projects.
• Knowledge of poultry shed construction, including ventilation, drainage, water, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing works.
