SOC Unit Manager – Lead Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

The SOC Unit Manager will lead easypaisa’s Security Operations Center, protecting the bank’s digital assets from cyber threats. You will oversee a team of security professionals, drive incident response, and continuously improve the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic SOC plans aligned with overall security strategy.
• Lead, motivate and develop the SOC team to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to define security policies and procedures.
• Monitor the organization’s cyber‑security posture and produce actionable reports for leadership.
• Own end‑to‑end incident handling, from detection through resolution, and coordinate with crisis management and group stakeholders.
• Ensure detection and response capabilities are in place, deploy relevant security tools, and optimise response processes.
• Perform gap analysis of the SIEM, integrate missing components, and enhance threat‑intelligence capabilities.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly security reports and present findings to business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing a Security Operations Center.
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks in high‑pressure environments.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of solving complex security problems.
• Effective communication and coordination with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
