Social Media and Content Intern (Binance Accelerator Program)

About the role

The Social Media and Content Intern supports the social team in producing native, platform-first content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels), X and YouTube (Shorts). It is a hands-on, on-camera and in-edit role: the intern ideates, appears in, shoots and edits short-form video and moves quickly on emerging trends. The role covers content creation, publishing, community management, creator coordination and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, from concept to publish-ready edit
• Appear on camera for explainers, trends, street-style content and scripted or semi-scripted videos
• Monitor platforms for trends, sounds and challenges and turn them into timely content
• Use hooks and retention thinking with visual, audio and narrative techniques
• Edit videos in CapCut and native tools, following platform best practices for captions, pacing, transitions, sound sync and safe zones
• Schedule and publish approved content with captions, hashtags, tags, cover frames, alt text and QA checks
• Maintain the content calendar, asset trackers and publishing statuses
• Support social listening by tracking brand mentions, keywords, competitor activity and sentiment
• Monitor comments and DMs, draft approved responses and escalate sensitive or compliance queries
• Support the MENAP Creator Program: manage creator communications, distribute weekly briefs, track deliverables and log content links
• Help maintain the creator database and scout new creators
• Pull social metrics and support weekly or monthly reporting on engagement and retention

Required profile

• Proven ability to create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts (portfolio, personal account or previous work)
• Comfortable and natural on camera
• Deep, current understanding of TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube trends and culture
• Strong understanding of hooks and retention
• Bilingual English/Urdu; additional languages an advantage
• Preferred: familiarity with fintech and crypto, and experience creating content for a brand or business account

Required skills

• Proficiency in CapCut and Instagram's native editing tools
• Organized, deadline-driven, able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong written communication and relationship-management skills
• Comfortable learning social media tools (publishing, listening, analytics)
• Preferred: experience with publishing, listening or analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch or Talkwalker
