Social Media Manager

About the role

Premier Housewares is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead its social media presence across several platforms, strengthen brand awareness, drive audience engagement and support business growth in the UK market. The role suits someone with a strong grasp of brand positioning, content strategy and digital trends, especially in the furniture, homeware and lifestyle sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run social media strategies aligned with the brand and business goals.
• Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn, and plan monthly content calendars.
• Lead content creation, including product showcases, lifestyle content, campaigns, reels and posts, keeping brand messaging and visuals consistent.
• Coordinate with designers, content creators, photographers and marketing teams.
• Run campaigns to grow awareness, followers, engagement, website traffic and sales.
• Monitor analytics, evaluate campaigns and report regularly; research competitors and market trends.
• Handle community engagement, comments and messages professionally.
• Explore influencer collaborations, partnerships and user-generated content.
• Lead and guide the social media team, assign tasks and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of social media experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial or team leadership position.
• Proven experience managing social media for a product-based or e-commerce brand.
• Strong understanding of the UK social media market and consumer behaviour.
• Experience developing content strategies, running campaigns and analysing performance.
• Leadership, communication, planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Understanding of brand positioning, storytelling and visual content direction.
