Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading technology company’s e‑commerce team. The role is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in a distributed micro‑services environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimize system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, micro‑services, or cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
