Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to develop and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS. This full‑time remote position offers the chance to work with a global leader in technology, delivering high‑quality solutions that enhance user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Required profile

• Proficiency in ElectronJS and JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
