Software Engineer (Entry-level)

About the role

Educative is looking for an innovative, entry‑level Software Engineer to help build and enhance its interactive learning platform. You will own features from concept to launch, collaborating with engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact experiences for learners, authors, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, maintainable, reusable code following SOLID principles.
• Clarify technical requirements, provide accurate estimates, and design innovative solutions.
• Review peers' code and give constructive feedback.
• Continuously improve software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of curiosity and technical excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Working knowledge of Git and ability to work independently.
• Self‑driven, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
