Software Intern – Web Scraping & Data Pipelines

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Intern to help build and maintain automated web‑scraping tools that feed our AI and computer‑vision pipelines. This role offers a CS student or recent graduate hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing tech startup.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop web scraping scripts to collect structured and unstructured data from various online sources.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines for internal use.
• Clean, process, and store scraped data in formats such as JSON, CSV, and databases.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate collected data into AI and computer vision models.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scraping scripts for accuracy and performance.
• Document processes and maintain code quality standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with web scraping tools and libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
• Understanding of data storage formats such as JSON, CSV, and databases.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of APIs and REST‑based data extraction is a plus.
