Software Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Quality Assurance Lead to drive the quality strategy across multiple product lines. In this role you will mentor a high‑performing QA team, establish robust testing processes, and ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of QA engineers, conducting performance reviews and career development.
• Allocate testing resources and oversee manual, automated, regression, integration, system, smoke, exploratory, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor product quality.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end testing across teams, manage defect lifecycle, and prioritize issues based on business impact.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and security teams to ensure timely issue resolution and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Continuously improve QA processes, documentation, and release quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2–3 years leading QA teams.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing of web applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
