About the role
We are looking for an experienced Solar Inverter Channel Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy and expand market presence in Pakistan. The role focuses on building and managing a network of distributors, resellers, and system integrators for our solar inverter portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for solar inverter products.
- Identify, recruit, and manage a network of distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
- Provide technical and sales training to channel partners on the inverter product line.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and materials for partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Report regularly on sales performance, market insights, and partner activities.
- Work with product development to relay market feedback and suggest improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar inverter or related solar energy sales.
- Proven track record in developing and managing successful sales channels.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, especially inverter technology.
- Deep understanding of the solar energy market, regulations, and incentives.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and the MS Office suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
