Solution Architect (SI & Managed Services)

About the role

JazzWorld, Pakistan's fastest-growing digital ecosystem, is hiring an Expert Solution Architect (SI & Managed Services) in Karachi. You will drive enterprise presales and design integrated technology solutions across connectivity, infrastructure, cloud, security, collaboration, IoT and managed services, turning customer requirements into end-to-end architectures and leading technical discussions and tender responses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise presales across ICT, connectivity, infrastructure, cloud, managed services, security, collaboration, smart campus and emerging technologies.
• Discover and document customer needs, then lead workshops, presentations, demonstrations and architecture reviews.
• Design multi-domain, multi-OEM solutions for LAN/WAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, MPLS, SD-WAN, data centre interconnect and enterprise connectivity.
• Develop infrastructure and cloud solutions covering compute, virtualisation, HCI, storage, backup, hosting, colocation and private/hybrid cloud.
• Design cybersecurity, collaboration, contact center, managed Wi-Fi, CCTV, smart campus, IoT and Safe City solutions.
• Compare OEM offerings and validate solutions with OEMs, distributors, partners and system integrators.
• Coordinate network, security, compute, storage, data centre, cloud and telecom specialists to deliver integrated designs.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, roadmaps, sizing and capacity calculations, BoQs/BoMs, technical specifications and compliance matrices.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and tender technical responses, and support account teams with opportunity qualification and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Required profile

• 6-8 years of enterprise presales, solution architecture, consulting or technology advisory experience, preferably with enterprise customers and system integration environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Telecom, Networking, Computer Engineering, AI or a related field.
• Mult-OEM experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure, security, cloud and data centre; Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, H3C or Fortinet experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer-facing skills: discovery, executive communication, presentations, technical writing, workshop facilitation, consultative selling and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Routing and switching, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, VLAN, QoS, SD-WAN, DPLC, IPLC, GMPLS and managed connectivity.
• Compute, virtualisation, HCI, storage, hosting, colocation, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and data centre services.
• Firewalls, UTM, load balancers, Anti-DDoS, endpoint security, VPN, segmentation and SASE.
• Collaboration, contact center, managed Wi-Fi, CCTV, smart campus, IoT and Safe City solutions.
• Multi-OEM certifications strongly preferred.
