Solutions Architect – Data Analytics

About the role

The Solutions Architect – Data Analytics will design and implement robust data solutions that enable strategic decision‑making. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical architectures, covering data pipelines, warehouses, and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions that meet business data requirements.
• Define and enforce data architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Design and implement enterprise data models, including dimensional and normalized models.
• Develop data governance policies to ensure data quality and security.
• Design hybrid and multi‑cloud data strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Work with data engineers to design and optimise ETL pipelines.
• Build enterprise data warehouses and data marts for BI and analytics.
• Optimise database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement data security measures and ensure data quality through profiling and validation.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy advanced analytics solutions.
• Utilise cloud‑based analytics tools such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering or data analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in dimensional data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
