Sonologist – Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Sonologist to join a newly established medical setup in Mehmoodabad, Karachi. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, interpreting findings, and delivering clear reports while upholding high standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound and sonography examinations as required.
• Obtain high‑quality ultrasound images using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Interpret sonographic findings and prepare accurate, comprehensive reports.
• Maintain proper patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and privacy.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding diagnostic findings.
• Handle routine care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Recognized training in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonology.
• Valid PMDC registration/license.
• Up to 3 years of experience as a Sonologist or Ultrasound Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, imaging techniques, and interpretation.
