Sous Chef Grade 1 – Continental & Desi Cuisine

About the role

Pine Court Luxury Resort is seeking a motivated Sous Chef Grade 1 to lead the preparation of both Continental and Desi/Pakistani dishes in a premium mountain‑resort setting. The role supports the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality culinary experiences for discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service execution.
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality of all dishes served.
• Supervise kitchen staff, coordinate workflow, and maintain a smooth service rhythm.
• Uphold hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Manage food preparation, inventory control, and efficient stock usage.
• Contribute to menu enhancements and develop new dishes aligned with guest expectations.
• Handle high‑volume service periods with professionalism and speed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in hotels, resorts, or high‑end restaurants.
• Strong expertise in Continental cuisine and Desi/Pakistani cuisine.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering guest satisfaction.
