SQA Engineer

About the role

The SQA Engineer will design and execute test strategies for functional, API, UI and data validation across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and support release sign-off and UAT.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategy for functional, API, UI, and data validation.
• Design regression, smoke, and exploratory test suites mapped to requirements.
• Build automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright or Selenium; create API tests with Postman/Newman.
• Execute cross-browser and device testing, including captive portal scenarios, using a real-device lab.
• Run load and performance tests with k6 or JMeter, analyze SLAs and bottlenecks.
• Create test data, mocks and stubs, and maintain stable CI pipelines.
• Triage defects, maintain QA dashboards, verify fixes and own release sign-off/UAT.
• Promote shift-left, risk-based testing and conduct root-cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of QA experience with automation.
• Strong knowledge of test design and defect lifecycle using JIRA/Xray.
• Experience testing REST APIs and databases with working SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi captive-portal flows and HTTPS redirects.
• Awareness of security, privacy and data integrity in advertising systems.
