SQA Engineer – Quality Assurance (1-3 yrs experience)

About the role

Sparkleo is seeking a motivated SQA Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in Islamabad. You will work on testing applications that connect smart devices through Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, NFC, RFID and other wireless technologies, ensuring high‑quality releases for a diverse range of IoT products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain functional and regression test cases for embedded firmware and web/app components.
• Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and verify coding best practices.
• Perform UI/UX evaluations to guarantee a seamless user experience across devices.
• Track defects, report findings, and verify fixes using version‑control tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance.
• Basic coding experience in embedded firmware or web/app development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Git version control.
