SQA Manager – Lead QA Strategy & Automation

About the role

The SQA Manager will define and drive a comprehensive QA strategy across manual and automated testing, leading a high‑performing engineering team. This role blends technical ownership with mentorship to ensure continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to boost efficiency, coverage and velocity.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and development teams.
• Partner with product managers, developers and stakeholders to align testing activities with business requirements and release schedules.
• Execute complex SQL queries for data reconciliation, conduct API load/performance testing and validate security against OWASP standards.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools for test case generation, defect analysis and regression optimization.
• Lead release planning, environment coordination, production deployments, smoke testing and post‑release verification.
• Support production incident workflows, drive root‑cause analysis and track quality metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 10+ years of SQA experience with proven leadership or team‑management responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments and the full software development lifecycle.
