Sr. Fashion Designer

About the role

This position is ideal for a designer passionate about western fashion, trend research, and creating commercially viable collections. You will work closely with production and merchandising teams to bring seasonal collections to market.

Key responsibilities

• Research global fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes to develop unique, marketable designs aligned with Sowears’ brand identity.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections that balance style, modesty, and functionality.
• Develop technical sketches, tech packs, and garment specifications for production.
• Select and source appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and trims.
• Oversee sample development, providing feedback on fit, quality, and finishing.
• Collaborate with marketing to align product designs with seasonal campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in women’s wear.
• Strong sense of color, fabric, and silhouette selection.
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern‑making, and textile processes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
