Storekeeper / Assistant Storekeeper

About the role

CTG, a human resources and staffing solutions provider operating in 35 countries, is hiring a Storekeeper / Assistant Storekeeper in Pakistan. The role handles receipt, dispatch and verification of commodities so that warehouse operations run smoothly, quality is maintained and losses are minimised, in line with WFP warehouse standards and guidelines. It reports to the line manager.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch commodities, including transshipment (truck to truck), against approved documents such as waybills and delivery notes, and check quantities and quality accurately.
• Prepare, verify and sign off warehouse and transport documents, keep confidential files and accurate transaction records, and report commodity movements promptly.
• Carry out daily warehouse closing reconciliations and inventory checks to support internal controls.
• Inspect commodities daily, report on quantity and quality, investigate stock discrepancies and damages, and prepare warehouse loss reports with recommended solutions.
• Safeguard food and non-food commodities using standard preventive measures and WFP procedures, and monitor warehouse conditions to support efficient space planning and storage.
• Guide and train warehouse staff on the job.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the activity manager.

Required profile

• Certificate in secondary school education (essential); post-secondary certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field desirable.
• At least 4 years of demonstrable experience in logistics, warehouse operations or a related field (essential).
• At least 4 years of experience in Asia (essential).
• Fluent spoken and written English and Urdu (essential).
• No team management responsibility.
