Structural Design Engineer – Residential Projects

About the role

The Structural Design Engineer (Residential) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Rawalpindi. You will design and analyse structural elements for residential buildings, ensuring safety, code compliance and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and 3‑D models using CAD and AutoCAD.
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis for residential projects.
• Review architectural and MEP plans, integrating them into structural designs.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and project managers to resolve design issues.
• Revise designs based on site feedback and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
• Prepare reports, documentation and material specifications to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience in residential design projects, preferably within Rawalpindi’s regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.
• Familiarity with local building bylaws and international codes such as ACI and AISC.
• Eligibility for registration with a professional engineering body is an advantage.
