Supply Chain Officer - Nowshera

About the role

BrightSpyre is hiring a Supply Chain Officer based in Nowshera. The role covers receiving and checking shipments, managing warehouse and stock records, coordinating with logistics providers and supporting the supply of medical supplies to health facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive shipments and check both quality and quantity
• Interact with third-party logistics service providers
• Audit freight costs and documentation
• Ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile hand receipts
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in the database
• Organize files manually and electronically, and maintain warehouse records such as bin cards, stock registers and way bills
• Monitor and facilitate repair orders and coordinate returns
• Manage warehouse security tasks such as badges, passes and ID cards
• Ensure the warehouse has enough space for incoming deliveries and that items are numbered and tagged
• Manage the quarantine section for short-expiry and expired stock and dispose of damaged items according to SOPs
• Ensure regular supply of AMDs, lab chemicals, reagents, drugs and RDTs to health centers and avoid stock-outs
• Maintain stock tracking at health facility level and fleet, asset and inventory management at district and facility levels
• Support the monthly meetings of the District Coordinator, update stock registers and produce monthly and quarterly reports on AMDs and lab reagent expiry calendars, temperature and humidity records and consumption-based demand
• Identify slow-moving items for timely rotation and perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Graduate degree in business or a related field
• 2-3 years of extensive experience in warehousing, logistics and operations planning
• Significant experience in supply chain management in an emergency environment, including warehouse and stock management
