System Engineer – Implementation & Payments Domain

About the role

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer with exposure to implementation and payments systems. The role involves leading system integration testing, user acceptance testing, disaster recovery and production cutovers while providing technical support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SIT, UAT, DR, and production cutovers
• Monitor production systems and call IDs
• Manage critical and severity‑based escalations
• Provide technical support during UAT and DR phases
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams
• Design and execute test cases for change requests and bug fixes
• Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software
• Troubleshoot live application issues
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer
• Maintain technical and implementation documentation
• Monitor system performance and recommend tuning
• Provide remote and onsite client support

Required profile

• BSCS / MSCS or equivalent degree
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in the Fintech / Payments domain
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
• Extensive experience in payments systems and online transaction flows
• Hands‑on system configuration and testing
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
