System Support Engineer

About the role

Zameen.com is seeking a proactive System Support Engineer to join its Rawalpindi office. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of our Windows‑based infrastructure, ensuring reliable network performance, and providing technical support to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional problems and implement expedited solutions.
• Configure servers, manage backups, and ensure systems are ready for production.
• Use SolarWinds to monitor WAN/LAN health and generate performance reports.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi networks and connected devices.
• Provide Windows systems administration, including virtualization support.
• Administer the Remedy Trouble‑Ticket and Action Request systems, maintaining the known error database.
• Update and protect web content, manage access rights, and enforce information‑assurance policies.
• Install new software and hardware, set up user accounts, and oversee antivirus protection.
• Perform network fault resolution, routine maintenance, and technical training for staff.
• Plan future IT improvements, ensure compliance with industry standards, and supervise help‑desk personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Team‑player attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
