Tax & Accounts Executive – Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax & Accounts Executive to join a well‑established financial and tax consultancy firm in Karachi. The role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements including trial balance, balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash‑flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and potential risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation.
• Prepare and file tax returns, calculate taxes owed, and advise on tax planning strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Part‑qualified in CA, ACCA, or ICMA.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a chartered accountancy firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Experience using SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
