Tax Executive – Corporate Tax & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Executive to join a reputable Chartered Accountant firm in Karachi. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
• Analyze financial statements to support tax planning initiatives.
• Assist with tax audits, inquiries, and respond to notices from tax authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date tax records, documentation, and compliance registers.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to reconcile tax‑related accounts.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide timely guidance to internal stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of the FBR IRIS Portal and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Portal.
• Hands‑on experience with all types of tax filings, including registrations, amendments, and compliance requirements.
