Assistant Manager, Operational Risk

About the role

The Operational Risk Manager will lead the Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) program, driving enhancements to the Operational Risk Management framework and ensuring consistent risk identification, measurement, monitoring and control across business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and execute the RCSA, including annual refreshes and ad‑hoc cycles triggered by events.
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with enterprise initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders to support the RCSA lifecycle, share knowledge and promote best practices.
• Maintain and communicate RCSA methodology and procedures to business lines and risk teams.
• Lead change‑management activities, including communications and training for RCSA updates.
• Oversee quality‑assurance reviews, monitor deficiencies and drive remediation efforts.
• Administer PRISM and other GRC tools related to the RCSA program.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, testing, monitoring or audit, preferably in financial services.
• Familiarity with banking regulatory and risk‑management requirements.
• Knowledge of common risk‑management frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with PRISM application.
• Proficiency in GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tools.
