Team Lead – Corporate Banking Operations (CIBG)

About the role

The Team Lead – CIBG provides operational support and oversight for Corporate Banking activities, ensuring efficient processing of account opening, maintenance, KYC, and related services. The role balances regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and authorize corporate account opening and maintenance, ensuring adherence to policies, AML, sanctions and KYC requirements.
• Review and approve documentation for corporate, commercial, government, financial institution and MNC clients.
• Oversee fixed‑deposit placements, rollovers and liquidations within delegated authority limits.
• Support KYC remediation, regulatory reviews, audit observations and data correction initiatives.
• Monitor SLA performance, maintain 99%+ processing accuracy and prioritize critical requests.
• Coordinate with relationship managers, product teams, compliance, credit and technology to resolve documentation gaps.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports on volumes, productivity and risk metrics.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in Corporate Banking Operations, account management or client onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or related field.
• Experience handling corporate, commercial, financial institution and government clients preferred.
• Professional certifications in Banking Operations, AML, Compliance or Risk Management are an advantage.
