Technical Lead – Python, React & AI

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Technical Lead who will own the end‑to‑end platform, write and review code, define architecture, and set engineering standards. You will work directly with the founder on product and technical decisions and be responsible for building and shipping the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall architecture across frontend, backend, AI services, database and cloud infrastructure.
• Design data models for fund mechanics, cash flows, NAV, performance metrics and credit data.
• Develop the analytics engine and AI layer (conversational Q&A, document ingestion, report generation).
• Establish engineering standards for testing, CI/CD, security, observability and documentation.
• Make technical decisions, evaluate trade‑offs and guide the engineering team.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience shipping production software, preferably in private credit, private markets or capital markets.
• 3‑5 years in a tech‑lead or staff‑engineer role.
• Experience shipping LLM features to production, including evaluations, guardrails, prompt versioning and cost control.
• Strong full‑stack expertise with deep knowledge of backend and data engineering.
• Decisive, pragmatic and able to move forward with sound judgement.
