Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the day‑to‑day technical delivery of a Core Wallet and Core Banking Transformation programme. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will translate the roadmap into executable sprints, manage dependencies and ensure the programme stays on schedule, budget and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed technical project plans for assigned workstreams and integrate them into the overall programme plan.
• Decompose the Programme Director’s roadmap into sprints, milestones, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Run Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, retrospectives – and keep an up‑to‑date view of status, scope, schedule and budget.
• Identify, document and manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues and changes (RAID) and drive mitigation actions.
• Coordinate Core Wallet delivery teams, third‑party vendors and internal technology groups, track SOW deliverables and enforce SLA adherence.
• Chair working groups, document decisions and ensure follow‑through.
• Plan and orchestrate SIT, UAT, performance and security testing cycles, track defects and ensure environments and test data are ready.
• Provide structured, evidence‑based reporting to the Programme Director and escalate blockers with clear options.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical projects in banking or financial services environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple vendors and internal technology teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate high‑level roadmaps into detailed execution plans.
