Technical Sales Engineer - One-Year Apprenticeship

About the role

TekWorx is looking for a motivated person to join a one-year apprenticeship as a Technical Sales Engineer, supporting its Technical Sales and Project Management teams. The apprenticeship gives hands-on experience in technical sales support, project coordination, product sourcing, documentation and project execution, under the guidance of experienced professionals. It is a full-time position based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Technical sales support: help the sales team understand customer requirements and product specs, research products and solutions, assist with quotations, technical proposals and product comparisons, prepare presentations and brochures, and take part in customer meetings and visits under supervision.
• Technical documentation: read and interpret datasheets, manuals and specifications, help prepare and organise technical documents, keep records of product and supplier information, and support reports and correspondence.
• Project coordination: help prepare project plans, schedules, task lists and progress reports, coordinate with internal departments and suppliers, monitor timelines, identify risks and delays, and give regular updates to the supervisor.
• Product sourcing: help identify suitable suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, delivery timelines and product specifications.
