Technical Support Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Associate to join our team supporting retail and restaurant POS solutions. You will ensure hardware and software operate smoothly and assist users in maximizing the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Set up hardware, install and configure software and drivers.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as routers and peripheral devices.
• Install and manage LAN/WAN networks, servers and IP configurations.
• Perform regular system upgrades and apply patches.
• Troubleshoot system failures, bugs and provide corrective solutions.
• Conduct maintenance sessions to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
• Provide timely technical support and train users on proper computer usage.
• Collaborate on new business deals, coordinate requirements and integrate contracts.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a computer technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, IT components and internet security.
• Understanding of data privacy principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and organizational abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ (preferred).
• Familiarity with Hubspot CRM is a plus.
