Territory Sales Manager – Layyah

About the role
We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Layyah region to lead our sales team and large‑scale distributors. The role involves deploying company strategies, training the team, and driving both short‑term objectives and long‑term growth in the FMCG market.
Key responsibilities
- Set SMART objectives aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and regional strategy, cascading them to the territory team.
- Estimate category development potential, create growth plans, and monitor market share across all product categories.
- Implement action plans, achieve monthly and quarterly volume targets, and ensure brand and pack deliverables are met.
- Review progress in weekly meetings, take corrective actions, and provide accurate financial and sales data to ASM/RSM.
- Monitor trade discounts, distributor ROI, and propose profitability improvements.
- Ensure quality control at distributor outlets (FIFO, stock levels) and track depot sales for strategic planning.
- Identify untapped channels, new towns, and optimal rack productivity to increase market share.
- Analyze competitor activity, propose promotions with positive financial impact, and support new product initiatives.
- Maintain a regular physical presence in the territory to understand customer needs and coach the sales force.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of field sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing & Sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, prioritisation, and sense of urgency.
- Proven ability to work in a team, multitask and drive results.
Required skills
- Proficient use of MS Office.
- Advanced Excel for complex data analysis.
- PowerPoint for presentations.
