Trade Sales Manager

About the role

The Trade Sales Manager will lead the affiliate’s sales‑line portfolio, driving revenue growth and margin expansion across the region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will inspire Regional Sales Managers and their teams to exceed targets while fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the affiliate’s sales‑line portfolio, setting targets and motivating Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Territory Managers.
• Develop work plans, milestones and track progress, using evidence‑based decision making to steer results.
• Hold RSMs accountable for team delivery, balancing reward, recognition and accountability.
• Monitor key financial indicators, manage budgets and expenses to support margin expansion.
• Create and execute cross‑functional sales strategies, translating them into clear objectives, metrics and action plans.
• Ensure operational excellence by meeting commercial KPI’s, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular field visits to coach RSMs and improve tactical execution.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, aligning interests to achieve common goals.
• Evaluate talent potential, anticipate future needs and develop succession plans.
