Transmission Engineer

About the role

The Transmission Engineer will lead the deployment and maintenance of FTTH and GPON networks, ensuring reliable delivery of triple‑play services (Internet, cable TV, and phone). You will work closely with field teams, manufacturers' documentation, and customers to guarantee high‑quality network installations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and maintain FTTH and GPON network projects, including fiber optic cable laying, splicing, and testing.
• Install ONT devices, configure routers, and activate triple‑play services.
• Supervise field teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret manufacturer manuals for all transmission equipment.
• Conduct site surveys of high‑rise buildings and other locations, monitor deployment progress, and verify installation completeness.
• Gather customer requirements during surveys and prepare accurate cost estimates for new installations.
• Utilize Wi‑Fi coverage tools when required to assess wireless performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronics, or Computer Systems Engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
