Senior RF Design Engineer (Team Lead)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to lead a team of five engineers in the development of wireless communication products. The role combines hands‑on circuit design with project coordination, ensuring technical excellence and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and testing of RF and microwave circuits and subsystems.
• Perform signal‑integrity and spectrum analysis to meet specifications.
• Use EDA tools (ADS, HFSS) for simulation, modeling and verification.
• Conduct 3D electromagnetic simulations with HFSS and CST Microwave Studio.
• Apply antenna design principles and integrate RF circuits at the system level.
• Mentor and manage a team of five engineers, overseeing timelines and resources.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, design specifications and test procedures.
• Utilize SolidWorks and other 3D CAD tools for mechanical‑electrical integration.
• Implement configuration management and version control for design revisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply‑chain teams to optimise product development.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging RF/microwave technologies.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in RF/microwave circuit design for wireless communication systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong commitment to quality, manufacturability and continuous improvement.
