Treasury Operations Specialist

About the role

HITEC University Taxila is hiring a Treasury Operations Specialist in Taxila. The role covers payroll processing, timely salary and vendor payments, voucher posting, withholding tax submissions and supporting budget preparation. It does not involve team management but requires strong coordination and organisation in a dynamic university setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time, in line with approval protocols.
• Manage timely payments to vendors and employees, including salary disbursement and vendor invoices.
• Post daily Bank Payment Vouchers (BPVs) and month-end Journal Vouchers (JVs) for accruals, rent receivables, advance adjustments and payroll into the financial management software.
• Forward monthly bank reconciliation statements to the Internal Auditor and maintain records for internal and external audits.
• Assist in reconciliation during tax audits and prepare withholding tax deposit statements on time.
• Update the Schedule of CP Fund monthly and manage transfers of university shares to the CP Fund and employee deductions to the Welfare Fund.
• Dispatch cheques to departments and share daily bank statements with the Accounts Officer Collection and Internal Auditor.
• Support budget preparation with timely financial data and analysis, and coordinate with faculties, administration, vendors and banks.
• Identify process improvements in disbursement workflows and implement recommendations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with procurement and vendor payment processes and disbursement workflow improvements.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills; no team management required.
