Truck Dispatcher

About the role

The Truck Dispatcher will manage daily freight movements from the Chiniot office, ensuring that loads are assigned to drivers and delivered on time. This on‑site position requires close coordination with drivers, clients, and internal teams to maintain smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers to loads, monitoring routes and shipment status.
• Communicate with drivers and clients to confirm pickup and delivery details.
• Update transportation management systems with accurate load information.
• Resolve delays or issues in real time and maintain detailed records.
• Verify load data, collaborate with operations and customer service, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong dispatch and logistics coordination abilities, including route planning and real‑time problem solving.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with computer systems and comfort using spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
• Solid organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of trucking operations, safety practices, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to work on‑site in Chiniot, collaborate in a team, and stay calm during high‑volume periods.
• Minimum high school diploma; logistics or supply‑chain certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
