Tutor Trainer – Teacher Training & Onboarding

About the role

My Tutor Source (MTS) is looking for an experienced and passionate Tutor Trainer to join its Academic & Training Department. The role involves training, onboarding, and mentoring newly hired teachers to ensure they meet the company’s teaching standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for newly hired teachers.
• Organise and evaluate mock teaching sessions to assess competencies.
• Manage the full onboarding process, including reviewing teaching audio recordings.
• Address and resolve issues related to training, onboarding, and classroom readiness.
• Monitor the shadowing process and update teacher status upon successful completion.
• Provide coaching and feedback to teachers who do not follow company protocols.
• Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans.
• Maintain and regularly update training documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with Academic and Operations teams to ensure consistent teaching quality.
• Assist in developing training materials, SOPs, and teaching resources.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in teacher training, academic coordination, instructional coaching, or a similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Strong understanding of online teaching methodologies and international curricula (IGCSE, GCSE, O Level, A Level, IB, or equivalent).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring abilities.
• Strong classroom observation and evaluation skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach teachers toward continuous improvement.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
