Unit Head – Debit & Credit Card Partnerships & Alliances

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Unit Head to lead Debit & Credit Card Partnerships & Alliances within our Digital Banking team. This senior position will shape the bank’s card partnership strategy, driving growth in acquisition, activation, and transaction volumes across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall Debit & Credit Card Partnerships strategy.
• Build and manage strategic alliances with merchants, fintech firms, payment service providers, aggregators, and e‑commerce platforms.
• Launch and oversee cashback, discount, installment, and loyalty campaigns.
• Collaborate with Digital Banking, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Cards Business teams.
• Identify new partnership opportunities to increase card acquisition and usage.
• Manage relationships with payment networks and card schemes.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to introduce innovative card propositions.
• Monitor partnership KPIs such as customer acquisition, merchant activation, transaction growth, campaign performance, and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and internal policies.
• Support new card products, co‑branded initiatives, and ecosystem expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Telecom, or Fintech.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in Debit/Credit Card Partnerships & Alliances.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Banking products and payment ecosystems.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and cross‑functional collaboration experience.
