Utility Engineer – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Utility Engineer to join our engineering team at the Faisalabad production plant. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement of utility systems such as HVAC, compressors and water treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee utility operations including HVAC, compressors, water treatment and related equipment.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting activities, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and take actions to improve availability and efficiency.
• Manage spare parts planning, inventory readiness and maintenance tools.
• Supervise maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to technicians.
• Coordinate installation, modification and maintenance while ensuring technical standards.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and ensure activities stay within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders for effective utility operations.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, QDMS and HSE standards and participate in audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in utility operations, maintenance engineering or industrial utilities within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, compressors, water treatment systems and rotating equipment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting and breakdown reduction.
• Familiarity with spare parts planning, inventory management and warehouse coordination.
• Advanced English communication skills.
