VAPT Engineer

About the role

VIDIZMO, an AI software company, is looking for a VAPT engineer to strengthen its secure software development lifecycle and integrate security best practices at every stage of development. The role involves hands-on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, with VAPT skills being a plus. Candidates must be able to use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to support their work while taking full accountability for the final deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-depth vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems, networks and applications
• Analyze results and produce detailed reports with vulnerabilities, risks and remediation recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and fix vulnerabilities by severity and impact
• Take part in red team exercises simulating real-world attacks
• Help improve security policies, procedures and guidelines
• Mentor junior team members on assessment methods and tools
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs and ensure they meet accuracy, quality and compliance standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
• Solid understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors and exploitation techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication and attention to detail
• Preferred certifications: CEH, OSCP or equivalent
• Proficiency in Claude (mandatory) and familiarity with ChatGPT; successful completion of a Claude-based assessment is required

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with security testing tools such as Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit and Burp Suite
• Familiarity with operating systems, networking protocols and web technologies
