Vice President, Finance & Operations

About the role

The Vice President, Finance & Operations will be the senior finance and operational leader for Banyan Canopy Group, overseeing financial governance, treasury, systems discipline and scalable infrastructure across the Pakistan platform. Reporting to corporate finance leadership and partnering with the General Manager, the role drives alignment with global standards while enabling platform growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial reporting, month‑end close and balance‑sheet governance for BCG and related entities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning in partnership with the General Manager.
• Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks aligned with global standards.
• Ensure timely statutory filings (SECP, FBR, SRB, EOBI) and manage relationships with tax advisors and regulators.
• Oversee cash forecasting, banking relationships, FX oversight and payment authorisation controls.
• Design and continuously improve scalable financial and administrative infrastructure, policies and SOPs.
• Partner with functional leaders to implement system enhancements while preserving operational agility.
• Serve as strategic partner to local leadership across Finance, HR, Operations, IT and Compliance.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, controllership or operational finance.
• Proven track record of building high‑performing finance teams and succession planning.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, treasury governance and risk management.
• Experience designing scalable systems, policies and operational frameworks in high‑growth environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• High integrity, sound judgment and ability to act as a stabilising executive presence.
