Video Editor – Commercials, Reels and Brand Films

About the role

An experienced Video Editor is sought to turn raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content for clients. You will edit commercials, social reels and brand films, working closely with directors, producers and the creative team. The role suits someone with a strong sense of rhythm and story who is curious about how AI is changing post-production.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw footage from rough cut to final delivery, shaping story, pacing and rhythm to match the creative brief and brand voice
• Handle color correction and grading, sound design, music syncing and basic audio cleanup
• Create motion graphics, titles, lower thirds and simple animations
• Organize footage and project files and keep a clean, efficient workflow
• Incorporate client and internal feedback quickly and professionally
• Export in the right formats and specs for each platform and meet tight deadlines

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience editing commercial or branded content
• A portfolio showing range across ads, reels and longer-form work
• Track record of delivering polished work independently and under tight deadlines
• Nice to have: basic cinematography or camera knowledge, VFX or compositing experience, photography or design skills, and agency or production-house experience

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro (primary NLE) or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro
• After Effects for motion graphics and compositing
• Solid color grading skills (DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
• Good understanding of audio mixing, sound design and music selection
• Knowledge of aspect ratios, codecs, frame rates and export settings across platforms
• Strong storytelling instincts, time management and ability to take direction from a creative brief
• Plus point: hands-on experience with generative AI video and image tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, Midjourney) and AI-assisted editing tools (Premiere's Generative Extend, Descript, Topaz, auto-captioning and transcription tools)
