About the role
Meshlyy is looking for a Video Editor Intern to join its content team in Lahore. You will help create short‑form and long‑form video assets for social media, marketing campaigns, and product showcases, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble raw footage, trim and sequence clips, and add transitions, music, captions, and basic motion graphics.
- Adapt video content for various platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and ensure brand consistency.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and creator‑success teams to optimize engagement.
Required profile
- Current student or recent graduate in Media Studies, Film, Design, Marketing, or related field (strong portfolio preferred).
- Ability to take feedback constructively and manage multiple editing tasks with timely delivery.
Required skills
- Foundational video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Basic motion graphics and visual design with After Effects, Canva, or comparable tools.
- Knowledge of social‑media video formats, hooks, and retention best practices.
