About the role

Omni Academy is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join its in-house creative team in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The role is full-time and on-site, working Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The editor produces engaging, professional video content for different digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional content and other digital platforms
• Produce short-form and long-form video content
• Add transitions, captions, graphics, music and sound effects
• Keep video quality consistent and aligned with brand standards
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on content requirements
• Manage several projects and meet agreed deadlines
• Refine videos based on feedback and stay up to date with editing trends and social-media formats

Required profile

• Proven professional experience as a Video Editor
• Relevant degree or diploma preferred; equivalent practical experience also considered
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Creativity and strong attention to detail
• Female candidates are required

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar video-editing software
• Understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, audio and visual storytelling
