Visiting Lecturer – Computer Science (Multiple Subjects)

About the role

TMUC Faisalabad is seeking qualified and passionate professionals to join the Department of Computing & Emerging Technology as Visiting Lecturers. You will deliver undergraduate courses across a range of modern computing topics and support student research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lectures, labs and tutorials for assigned subjects.
• Develop course materials, assignments and examinations aligned with current industry standards.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations and capstone assignments.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain an active presence in the campus community and contribute to academic events.

Required profile

• Minimum MS degree in a relevant computing discipline.
• Strong command of the subject area and effective teaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior teaching experience, preferably in the Transnational Education (TNE) sector.

Required skills

• Database design, SQL, normalization, ER modeling.
• Desktop and web application development using modern frameworks.
• Object‑oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
• IoT concepts: embedded systems, sensors, microcontrollers.
• Research methodology and project supervision.
• Android/mobile application development and UX design.
• Cybersecurity fundamentals, network security and ethical hacking.
• Software architecture, design patterns and system modeling.
