VP Treasury & Fleet Capital

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance leader to take full ownership of the B‑Fleet profit & loss and to build a finance function that can support a highly capital‑intensive fleet business at scale. Reporting to senior management and the Board, the VP Treasury & Fleet Capital will shape the financial strategy, manage bank relationships and ensure the fleet delivers attractive returns on capital.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly fleet P&L and management reporting pack, tracking metrics such as revenue per vehicle, utilization, cost per vehicle, cash generation and ROIC, and flag cash‑flow risks well in advance.
• Develop and maintain a robust financial model that stress‑tests the fleet under various scenarios (utilization drops, defaults, FX, borrowing costs, maintenance, residual values) to guide expansion and capital allocation decisions.
• Manage all bank and lender relationships, overseeing covenants, drawdowns, repayments and refinancing while ensuring compliance and zero surprises for the Board.
• Design and implement a best‑in‑class collections and credit framework, moving from reactive collections to predictive credit management through cohort analysis, delinquency trends and concentration risk monitoring.
• Prepare the Board‑level financial narrative, delivering monthly one‑pagers and quarterly presentations that explain performance, risks and capital deployment decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance experience in capital‑intensive, asset‑heavy businesses, preferably with fleet or transportation exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to model complex scenarios and communicate insights to senior leadership and Board members.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with banks, lenders and internal senior teams.
• Track record of building finance functions that support rapid growth and scale.
