Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the efficient flow of goods across on‑campus distribution stores, maintenance stores and secondary hospital warehouses. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate inventory replenishment and compliance with key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate with users, distribution stores, maintenance store and secondary hospital warehouses to meet delivery and replenishment KPIs.
• Monitor pending inspections, discrepancy items and expedite GRIN processing for import and local receipts.
• Manage vendor interactions at the receiving counter and enforce warehousing best practices, including temperature‑controlled items.
• Schedule and supervise the warehouse team, optimizing workflow to reduce overtime.
• Maintain accurate stock management, including space allocation, stock transfers, handling non‑conforming and expired products.
• Oversee receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, expiry monitoring and disposal in line with departmental policies.
• Ensure comprehensive record‑keeping for receiving, issuance, inspection, picking, expiry, discrepancies and disposals.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and quarterly stock variance reporting, reconciling adjustments.
• Provide supervision, training, development and enforce personal safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to plan and coordinate warehouse activities with multiple internal users.
• Experience supervising a warehouse team and managing inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail for record‑keeping and compliance with safety and temperature‑control procedures.
