Warehouse Manager

About the role

As a Warehouse Manager at Haleon, you will lead the warehouse operation, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards while delivering products to customers efficiently and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal inspections and audits to maintain compliance with EHS, GMP and financial requirements.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX, delivering net‑savings targets and embedding a continuous‑improvement culture.
• Assess warehouse design, optimise space utilisation and implement processes for secure stock handling.
• Oversee temperature‑controlled storage, cycle‑counting procedures and KPI monitoring.
• Coordinate export dispatches, DRAs for export and related material imports.
• Lead a team of 28‑30 staff through 4‑5 direct reports, training and performance management.
• Handle an annual volume turnover of 120 million finished packs and inventory valued at £10‑12 million.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale warehouse operations and compliance audits.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate staff.
• Experience in capacity planning, cost control and achieving savings targets.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality standards and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with warehouse management software.
• Proficiency in database usage for inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with cycle‑counting procedures and KPI analysis.
