Web3 Developer – Blockchain Engineer (Layer 1 & 2)

About the role

We are seeking a Web3 Developer to join our technology team in Islamabad. Working with minimal supervision, you will design and develop Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols and contribute to open‑source initiatives that integrate cutting‑edge AI algorithms on‑chain.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of blockchain projects from conception through deployment and ongoing management.
• Architect and design Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols, ensuring EVM compatibility.
• Contribute to various open‑source blockchain initiatives.
• Build blockchain protocols that interact with AI technologies.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional experience in blockchain development.
• Strong programming and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Golang, Rust and/or C++.
• Extensive experience with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Solana, including smart‑contract development.
• Understanding of Cosmos blockchain is a strong plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain architecture and node operations.
• Contributions to open‑source blockchain projects preferred.
• Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms and cryptographic protocols.
• Familiarity with decentralized storage (IPFS) and blockchain oracle services.
• Back‑end development experience, algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge of deep learning, LLMs, NodeJS and Python is advantageous.
• Proficiency with version‑control tools such as Git or SVN.
